Anonymous LLCs

What is an anonymous LLC?

An anonymous limited liability company is when the names (and any other identifiable information) of the owners, are hidden from public view. There are states that allow businesses to be formed, without disclosing the names and addresses of the owners.

Which states can I form an anonymous LLC?

Many states allow anonymous LLC formations. Wyoming, Delaware, Nevada, and New Mexico are the most common states where business owners form anonymous LLCs.

Is an anonymous LLC really anonymous?

Not always, depending on which type of business that you are in, the owners' identifiable information will be publicized. For instance, if you apply for a license or permit in the Cannabis or Hemp industry, the owners' information will be public. There is absolutely no anonymity in the Cannabis industry.
